What is Design Thinking?
Design thinking is a way of solving problems, especially those involving the design and manufacture of new products. Design thinkers make use of all available resources to generate as many ideas as possible, then prioritize and develop their favorites into prototypes or working models that are tested for usability with consumers.
Design thinking is a new approach to innovation. It is based on the idea that everyone is creative, and that creativity can be harnessed by following a process. The process has five steps:

Design Thinking is a Process
The process works by clarifying what needs to be designed, where those needs will be, then experimenting with potential solutions in a variety of ways. The goal of the process is to go into a situation and learn something about a challenge. The Five Steps of Design Thinking
1. Empathize Start by asking yourself: “Who needs what from me?” Are you designing for an entrepreneur in a startup? Are you designing for a designer, a startup co-founder, a current designer, or a current customer? Figure out who your design target is, and whom they work for.
2. Define Now you need to understand what you actually want to build and why. How will you know if it was successful? Your design target needs to understand why you are building it, who it serves, what its benefits are, and how you measure its success.
3. Ideate is to Find out what design problems exist in your audience, and what problems they are trying to solve. They can also serve as inspiration for your next idea.
4. Prototype to Create an activity or prototype to demonstrate the solution.
5. Test your Prototype.
While empathy is important to design thinking, it is not the main goal. Empathy can be an important and powerful factor in design, but it is not the only factor. The process is designed to turn out ideas that can actually be built, not ideas that have empathy. One of the most important parts of design thinking is the method to work through and improve your ideas. Define Designers and developers sometimes struggle with defining what they are building. An easy way to deal with this challenge is to ask for help from users who have had experiences similar to the user’s needs and goals. Find real users who can explain how they use their products or services. Talk to them about how they do their work. Who they collaborate with. Talk to them about the problems they experience.
In this first step, you should consider the meaning of the problem, and what needs to be designed to solve it. Make sure that the design is based on research. Ask yourself: What problem am I trying to solve? What solutions are available today? What is the best way to achieve this goal? For example, say your business needs a new type of line cutter for packaging products. Your employees could use normal scissors to trim product cardboard, but it could be time-consuming and dangerous for them to cut thin slivers of cardboard into tiny shapes. But what if they could use industrial scissors that were much faster and safer? How might you design a new type of line cutter to make the process easier and safer? Clarify This is the second step in the process.
How can we translate the many practical experiments we did in our startups into software? How can we optimize user feedback to improve design in an easy, scalable way? Vacations are for the mind and soul. Every one of us can create short, one-hour, relaxing experiences that transform our experience. Here are five tips: First, put away your cell phone. It may seem unnecessary, but over time it will negatively impact the quality of your experience. Secondly, get down on the ground. It is easier to connect with the physical world. Third, notice your posture. Sometimes you have to move into a comfortable position to feel really comfortable. Fourth, relax. Now it is time for fun! Fifth, focus on your experience. Who are the people who are around you? Who is speaking to you?
